When I first had mine done... after the 30 days or so, I would take out my earings at night.
Then I'd forget to put them back in the morning.
Once, I forgot for a week or so and when I finally went to put the earings in, it felt like I was piercing them again! Shocked
The holes had closed that much!

Same happened to me. I actually took a needle and re pierced them. Probably not the smartest thing to do but it worked.

Part of me is attracted to people with piercings, but it's not the end all be all of a relationship.

I have had my tummy (when I was a teen), tongue (early 20's) and nose pierced. My nose is the only one left. For whatever reason, my body rejects piercings! Makes me sad though, cuz I LOVE them!

I quite like piercings on men too! My partner would never go for it, however...

First one was my tongue, then my eyebrow (since removed as surface barbels migrate out), then bottom lip (hasn't been in for ages as the back of the labret doesn't do my gums any good), and my ear, which I did myself with a hypodermic needle.

All my piercings have to be plastic, as I've also got a condition called Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, which basically means I'm allergic to metals in contact with me for any time (among other chemicals), even surgical implant grade stainless steel and titanium make me swell up and itch like hell after about half an hour.

You mean, like an industrial piercing?

As for me, I have 2 rings in each ear. I had 3, but they hurt too much.

I like the way some piercings look, but I don't currently have any or want any. I used to have my ears pierced and my nose pierced. The nose piercing lasted for 2 months. I had a bad reaction which went away as soon as I took the ring out. I used to have 1/2 inch plugs in my ears, but I got sick of cleaning them every day. Piercings require daily attention if you want them to last. I'm glad I had the experience, though.
