I've been mistaken as a male, many times. I take it as a compliment.

I mistook you as a male when I first joined and saw your pic in one of the "post your pic" threads... the one where you were standing in front of the fireplace in a blue sweatsuit-sort of thing, holding a little Routemaster bus.

By the phone, some people think I'm male.

Also, WP members thought I was male before I posted a photo of myself, and I know a lot of users still think I'm a boy :P

I think someone nearly said "yes, ma'am" to me last friday. It was very odd, because its been a long time since someone made that mistake while facing me just a couple feet away. She caught herself, then ran off and acted busy while someone else came to the window. I was clean-shaven, and some say I have nice lips, but I had been speaking with that lady for a full minute, which is usually enough time to determine a gender. Most of the time, my long hair is to blame. Plus, I don't exactly dress like a lumberjack. C'est la vie...

I remember that picture too. :D Before I joined, I read Wrong Planet threads for few weeks and I was interested in you - who was that person who posted so lot and so often :D I was sure you're a male looking at that picture, especially that your hobby is typical for males

I was mistaken as a representative of the opposite sex only one time if I remember well but it's only because it was the winter time and I was wearing coat and cap and that elder guy who was asking me then what time it was saw only my back

Bits of me have!

Have been accused of having a female body! Slight manboobs!

And have been accused of feminine habits, ie know how to arrange flowers and how to cook and about make up.

He thought I was in drag!

I actually laughed out loud ! ! Wot a funny story ! ! And to tell it on yourself ! !!

a few times... lol. i was standing in the hallway of a fast food joint near the bathrooms and some guy got mad at me because he had tried to go into the bathroom and it was occupied and he was like "you could have said you were waiting for the bathroom!!" and i didn't know how to respond.. XD i donno.. i don't think i look like a boy.. lol. maybe it was the tie... and i was wearing a hat.. so maybe he didn't see my face clearly.. or.. i donno.. XD but i was mistaken a few times when i was a kid and had my hair cut... and a few other times... lol but on this one website, just for fun, i've convinced everyone that i'm a boy.. lol.

When I was skinnier and into heavy makeup, I thought I looked like a guy in drag.
