Favourite place varies on mood. Alone on a Scottish mountain top takes some beating.

But am rather fond of where I live now, which is Orkney.

My favourite place is the backstage area of the Gladstone Theatre. It's amazing working on the different shows and watching them from that angle, and being backstage there always feels like being home. :) I've worked in other theatres and venues as well, but none of them ever feel quite the same as that theatre.

totally agree, and can vary from the courtyards in the August heat of the alhambra palace in Granada, the mosque in Cordoba and other places in Andalucian Spain , to Cornish coastlines near St Ives, Penzance, Sennen, to a second hand bookshop, a juice bar, my bed, the yorkshire moors, from Charing Cross Road in London, the cathedral in St Pol de Leon in Brittany, to any beach by the Atlantic . The houses of favourite german family. Hundreds of places. Too many to choose between , which makes choosing where to live IMPOSSIBLE, so have given up, and let budget and peace guide me, to little old village in northern Provence, which is okay!!.

My favorite place is home. Second best is a large wood and just me and my dog there.
