I feel like Ace Ventura pet detective, I love all animals, but where he had a phobia of bats, mine is with dogs. Half of it is to do with the fact of their hygeine, and the other half is, some of them are unpredictable. I had a dream last night where one was about to attack me. I think some species of dog's shouldn't be allowed to be pets. My nephew has a rott weiler(spelling), good choice eh! After saying this I would still probably risk my own life to save a dog if it was in danger, but I just wish I did'nt need to be in contact with them at all.
I can understand some people may have a phobia of any kind of animal...but there is no need to stereotype breeds of dogs.
I have a rottweiler and he has the most gentle nature and friendliness of any dog i've ever met. He's never attacked another human being (or animal unless he is defending his owner) and is very loyal.
I have met several other rottweiler owners and their dogs have very similar temperaments and personalities to mine.
There is no such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners.
I've said all I need to.
