Adrie, I went through the 'be outgoing' stage at your age(I'm forty)
It came to nothing.Joined a gym,swimming pool,martial arts,adult education,Theosophical Society,meditation groups,Yoga.Couldn't connect with anybody.
Or if I did, it quickly fell apart.

Just stop thinking that.
If you are an Aspy,the only real place to be is an Aspy support group
or a loving relationship.
