wsmac, I don't think you'll get blasted.
I think the biggest problem was the forum it was in. There is stuff like that in the Adult forum, and that is where things like that should be. I'm sure he didn't know or realize that there was that type of form.
Personally the age didn't even faze me. Hey, I was 'active' at 14, so.... LOL!

I also do not believe there is much concerning sexuality that hasn't already been thought of, tried, made illegal, put on Jerry Springer, in the Hite Report or the Kinsey Report or the Masters and Johnson Report... or... COSMO
Oral sex (no matter what body area/part is being oralized) has always been around... heck... we could classify kissing as oral sex!
... depending on which Clinton-esque definition of sex we use....
I think there could be many things to discuss with people here about oral sex... first off... safety - STD's (I see plenty of people coming through my lab getting tested these days), general health concerns, legality in different states/countries, dispelling myths, etc.
I keep telling folks here that just because the original post may feel offensive... this does not mean we can't turn the topic into a positive educational experience for all.
I think it's true that there could be many people here who, at any given time, have the same questions about personal issues that other members have.
One of the things I hear over and over again on internet forums dealing with issues such as AS, ADD/HD, and Gender... is, "MY GOD! I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO ______________'s ...!"
The only way to reach that place is to feel free enough to ask questions or relate personal experiences.
This then gives everyone who's interested, a chance to relate their own experiences, offer up their questions, etc.
It's called learning! ![]()

I was writing the other post when you posted this.
Thanks busy91.
I did see several people speak of how Kytes should not be addressing this issue at her/his age.
But I do agree with you in that it should go to a better forum than the Random Forum.
Problem is... where does a teenager post serious sexual content without causing problems?
The Adult Forum is... for adults... I thought so anyway... I'll have to go back and read the Adult Forum heading.
The Adolescent Forum would probably not be seen as the appropriate place for Kytes to post about oral sex either.
Having a moderator or Alex help Kyte in resolving this issue would be really nice.
Perhaps they could even do it in private, although I think for the benefit of other teens here, it might be better addressed out in the open as a general topic.
So I suppose I may have a new thread to offer WP...

Damn, I had a really good post and lost it...
Well, here I go again...
I was made aware of what Kytes posted.
Geez! You people had me wondering what on earth he could have said... "...what does it taste like?" That's it!?
And yes AspieMartian... people... perhaps especially boys... the age of 14 are wondering about those things.
Perhaps you have never learned that not too many years ago in human history... 14 years of age was much closer to when folks were getting married than today. People are capable of being sexually curious at young ages.
I'm glad for the extended childhood we can afford our youth, but saying...
Boys in the 8th grade talk about this stuff. We did when I was in school and that was just about every boy I knew... not just a few who might have sexuality issues like I had.
Human Sexuality is a dynamic/fluid thing... there is no 'right' age at which every person should learn about it.
There may be better ways for people to learn... but someone younger than 14 may learn about certain aspects of sexuality and do just fine with it.
Let's be clear here... I am not talking about engaging in sex... just talking about sex.
This is why my former wife and I have always let our daughter know that she is free to ask us any question she may ever have, without having us rag on her about how 'inappropriate it is' for her to think about.
We have always understood that she is her own person.
Her hormones kicked in when her body said it was time... we didn't set an age at which she would be allowed this moment.
I know many other parents who have been open to conversation with their children and I believe this benefits the child much more than telling to 'wait until they're old enough'... whatever age that may be
When they start to question.. I believe they are old enough for a truthful answer put into terms they can comprehend.
Usually I figure the parent(s) will know this... but that is not always the case unfortunately.
Anyway... off my soapbox...
Kytes, the wording I was given as a quote from your original post is what I would call offensive language.
There are better words to use to ask about this subject.
You could have just asked, "I understand some people engage in oral sex. I understand what that is, but I would think the taste of those body areas would be gross!" or something like that.
Hopefully fewer people would object to such wording.
Also, you need to take a good look around Wrong Planet.
Familiarize yourself with the various forums so you will have a better understanding of where to post your future questions or comments.
If you are still not sure where to post something, ask a moderator... they should have 'Moderator' under their username, to identify themselves.
You can also ask Alex, although I have seen it mentioned here many times now that he tries to stay out of moderating forums... but he's still the site owner and his word is the final word here.
As far as oral sex....
I have to do the adult thing and warn you to be careful if you ever engage in it.
I work in a hospital laboratory and I can tell you that we see plenty of folks who come in to get tested for STD's (Sexually Transmitted Disease).
We had a 16 y.o. guy in last week to be tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea... guess what he had been doing?
I don't even know specifically other than being in contact with someone else's body fluids... probably in a sexual manner.
STD's are serious business and the pornography industry does not give a damn how they misrepresent the sexual acts of people.
Also, if you contract an STD, this will affect your future intimate relationships with anyone else.
Check it out here... --->CDC STD's
To answer your question though... I understand it's different for everyone.
If anyone tries to give you a definitive answer to this question... you'd be best to shine it on.
There is no "one size fits all" answer to questions like this when we're dealing with individual senses.
You will find out for yourself if/when you do it, just be careful, be legal about it, and be considerate of your partner.
I can remember how it sucked to be young and not allowed to do certain things, but I can tell you from my experience that some things would have been better done later in life... like sex.

This is a highly explosive topic!
This is one area I am totally unfamiliar with, though I have seen some topics in the Adult restricted area that deal with this sort of issue. Perhaps the poster identified as Kytes was too young to participate there.
I feel some parental empathy when I think about what has happened here. I hope everything is resplved as soon as possible.
Best Wishes for the season. Happy New Year.
Im not telling anybody what "so and so is like" I used to relay all that info to my best friend and hes nearly forty and a virgin by choice. I dont know if it was the graphic descriptions or the crazy relationships that scared him offf.
Besides i had to take my lumps. Find out the Hard way. I had no idea what a breast felt like till I first touched one. Holy crow it was squishy like a waterballoon. I'd only seen pictures and never videos so i fiure since it looked like a shoulder or something it would feel like one too.
I agree the connundrum. Its an adult forum question, yet its not an adult asking it. . . .

Well perhaps to end this thread... Kytes was identified as a Troll by the moderators for other posts made on WP, which may have been graphic in nature and were apparantly very offensive and 'over-the-line'.
