well, the infamous McDonalds urban legends, when I was younger, some people didn't want to go there believing that stuff.

In the town neighbouring to my own there was gossip some years ago that one woman got sick having drunk something in McDonald and in hospital it was found that she had 11 kinds of sperm in her stomach

The city I'm from... Johnstown, Pennsylvania... there's this place called "Becky's Grave".

Becky's Grave - Supposedly a young lass, Becky by name, was labeled as a witch because she befriended an Indian in the early 1800's, as he taught her the ways of herbs and incantations in place of medicine not readily available at this time and place. It has been noted that your car may have trouble starting should you park in the lane leading to the old family cemetery. Source

My mom actually visited Becky's Grave back in the 80's with one of her friends. She said she was wearing these ugly old 80's shoes with big golden buckles on them, and on her way to the grave, she lost one of her buckles. But. When she got to the grave, her buckle was back on her shoe 8O

At the end of my street there is a pink building.
It is said to be haunted by a witches ghost. I have been near it...under it [and in it if I could!] and no signs of ghosts.

Various haunted locations...local rumors.

I think the best one I can remember is one from where I grew up.

My dad worked at a flood control dam...it was rumored that during its construction in the early 50's one unfortunate worker happened to slip from the scaffolding while the concrete was being poured and was buried alive...he was reported to have been forever entombed in concrete. Strange noises where supposedly reported later after the completion of the dam.

I never heard anything really strange...but then it was a dam...all the noises inside the tunnels where strange...it echoed.
