Better for some, us, worse for most.

Properly applied technology, the population would double.

We have exceeded the carrying capasity of the planet, the population crash is coming.

Read the history of famines in China, recent, millions died.

I would say there will be less than a billion in fifty years.

War is the result of failed economies. There will be a lot of that.

In all past downturns, the tech survived.

i think its time for a gamma ray explosion in our neck of the woods already. i am also tired of hollywood, the news media and these godawfull presidential hopefulls on the news 24/7 :x

In the last couple of decades, when polled most Americans say that people will be worse off than their parents. Polls used to consistantly go the other way before, that the kids will be better off than their parents.

It's getting worse. I doubt it will get better during my lifetime.
