dog pee...and poop...it's like a minefield. Haven't been there in 10 years, but I remember.

I got one of those guidebooks that tells you how to find the cheap things. Had a lot of fun; went to the Micky D's just to see if it was true that they had wine (I think they did, but I didn't order any..;) at the Versailles Micky D's...;) There's tons of museums, try the Metro, do the Eiffel tower thing (touristy, but hey, you're there, and it was only 11 francs when I went up it), eat well. I got a Pizza there that was made in such a manner that I knew the cook had only heard about one..;)

ah, to be young again. And I wouldn't be surprised if those two guys aren't trying to pick you up..;)

I won't be able to post any photos of Paris ..... my camera got stolen.

Apart from that my time in Paris was wonderful and I would love to go again.

About the dog poo ..... I did see a bit (but not pee). Our walking tour guide told us 600 people in Paris every year are hospitalised after slipping and injuring themselves on dog poo.

Apparently if you step in dog poo with your left foot it's good luck. If you step in dog poo with your right foot .... well you've just stepped in dog poo.

I loved the gardens/parks in Paris. My favourite part was going on top of the Arc de Triumph.

I saw the major tourist attractions: Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame etc (too tired now to list them).

I would recommend Paris as a great place to holiday. The metro system was efficient and reasonably easy to work out.

Helen

Hi Helen,

That's bad news about the Camera.

Hopefully you've made enough friends with your tour group that someone else can give you their photos....
