It would be difficult, but I don't think it would be impossible.

No, and for the remainder of my slow death due to starvation I'd go crazy, befriend weird animals and rocks, and light alot of stuff on fire.

First there would be lots of learning to do. Like what kind of power plant do you have locally, what makes it run, how long will it run on it's own. How do you connect a generator to a building/home. Where to locally obtain solar panels and if available, how to connect them/set them up. Where are the local farms, what are their crops and/or livestock. How do you grow, harvest, preserve(pickle, can, dry fruit, etc), etc enough of the crops for say four people(Just to be safe, I'd even plant them in different locations in case of disease etc, if feasible). How do you care for livestock, how do you prepare livestock(Milk cows, sheer sheep, slaughter pigs/chickens, make beef jerky, make leather, etc). No livestock available, how do you trap and hunt, etc.

Visit the public libraries and college/university libraries to pick me up some relevant books for learning. Siphon gas from a vehicle or a hundred, hook a gas station up to a generator, pump me enough gas to last a month in a vehicle, and enough for another generator at a home for times that I need/want electricity. Pick up plenty of bottled water, learn where drinkable/potable water sources are locally and how to make water drinkable. Pick up plenty of canned and dried goods.

I think I'd live comfortably for a while and survive for a long while. I'd definitely be busy.

I have lived in remote locations for much of my childhood. In fact, I would often survive with only a knife in the wilderness for two weeks at a time.

I have also lived for about two years without electricity, running water, or a telephone. When realizes it, rather little is actually needed to survive. The most important interest is food and shelter. All other concerns are dealt with in any time left over.

If there wete no people I would be fine if there was lots of light, animals, warmth and opportunities for activity.
