Thanks, I have checked on this site but it seems there aren't too much things that would interest me. I have signed up for some free stuff though.

Recently I sent some requests for free samples of cosmetics and free gadgets. I got 22 samples of various face creams I gave my mom (now she has loads of such creams I won for her in contests). That’s all I got.

Nothing is free. Even junk costs you something in order to get it.

I used to get stuff free all the time- From posters, to magnets, glue, condoms, soap, shampoo, stickers, razors, coupons, cereal, snacks, buttons, lotion.. from the top of my head. However, more and more freebies/free samples are getting rarer and rarer. Walmart used to be big into it, but I don't think they send out free samples anymore. Whenever I did fill out the form to get my samples, I'd use my pets names.. so If I ever got junk mail, I'd know how they got the name. The only time I got junk mail by doing it, is when my cat got approved for a credit card in the mail ... It was abit amusing.

That got me in trouble when I thought something was free but it wasn't completely.

I used to be OBSESSED with free stuff though. Actually, the first thing I did when we got to go to the computer lab in 6th grade (since we didn't have internet until i was in 9th grade at home) was sign up for "free" computers and stuff  Not the brightest crayon in the box.

The internet itself is the best free thing there is.

I signed up to get e-mail from all-freemagazines.com whenever they add a new offer. You'd be surprised how often magazine companies give away free six month or one year subscriptions to the first [insert number here] people who sign up. I'm getting Newsweek free for six months right now. When the trial is over and they send you a bill, you write "cancel" on it and don't pay anything. The only catch is that they'll sell your e-mail address to advertising companies and you'll get lots of spam, but I get a lot of that no matter what.

Since when was the internet free?

Since the 21st century, actually. It's possible to access the internet without paying an ISP.

For Canadians: there's links to a lot of free stuff at Redflagdeals. I have gotten free appetizers and desserts at restaurants, and some things in the mail...will be enjoying a kashi bar soon and a bag of spicy ketchup chips.

The catch is the companies involved might send you a crapload of email, but that's usually solved by unsuscribing to their respective mailing lists.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I used to but then I realized that they use these offers to create leads. These companies use the offers to get you to sign up and then sell your info to marketing firms. I don't sign up for these things anymore because I don't want my phone being blown up be telemarketers.

I signed up for some free stuff - a pizza knife (I had no idea something like that exists), some flower seeds, a manicure set, some cosmetic samples for mom, a small linen towel - I hope I'll get them.
