OK, me again with a pic. There may come a time when we'll need to think about colonizing other places besides earth.

No, it's Project Tella. I think tax dollars should be spent here instead of Iraq.

Hey, real ideas have come out of some of these fiction books. Ppl use to think the earth was flat and that the sun rotated us.

Aristotle and Ptolemy didn't help anything. Washington Irving's fictional work about Columbus was not where the idea of a round earth came from, but where the idea the people in the middle ages thought the earth was flat came from. The idea of a round earth is as old as ancient Egypt, which said idea was later changed by the Greeks to flat earth for philosophical reasons. Maps of the ancient sea kings is interesting as it relates to this and the knowledge of the Earth in ancient times and medieval times.

I claim the second dimension and live in your artwork.

...Not a planet, but it's a dimension. I wanted to claim a sci-fi dimension, but how original would that be?
