I don't have a favorite song, but 20 - 40 years old seems about average for the songs I like most.

My favorite song is "Moonlight Shadow" by Groove Coverage. It came out in 2001, but I didn't discover it until last December.

it's 3400 years old from the Syrian city if Ugarit.

There is a midi file so you can listen to it. It doesn't have a name so maybe it doesn't count.

I have a confession to make. I like "Heart of Glass", by Blondie.

(Wow, I made that dramatic, didn't I?)

Blondie rocks. Maria used to be my favourite song.

I like End of the Line by The Traveling Wilburys; that's 20 years old. As old as me. :D

Most of the songs that I like, are about 27 to 32 years old. :O)

I think I watched "Heartbreakers" improperly, since it was during some ... marital ... activities.

But there are many other ways to watch a movie improperly, like standing on your head, or drifting in and out of consciousness. :P

My favourite song (for now) is A Little Soul, by Pulp. It was released in 1998.

Difficult to say...
I like a lot of early Floyd, so 30 years...

Yeah I was young when I watched the deer hunter. The theme song really memorised me, I actually couldn't wait for the credits at the end to listen to Cavatina. Great song. nice on guitar

I love classical guitar. I bought a CD of it a couple months ago (Bach), but it was all in minor key except for the last piece, and I specifically wanted major key stuff. Can you recommend a soothing classical guitar CD with lots of major-key pieces?

Hard to pick a favourite but if I had to, I'd probably say

"Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler.

Hey sure, I only know a little bit of music theory, can't be bothered learning it. So don't understand major minor key stuff. My uncle got me into classical when I was younger, I'm pretty much self taught. I'm more of a raw talent. :)

I would recomend

Gymnopedie No 1 - Erik Satie
Romance Anonimo

for starters. Best to stick to and master a couple of pieces otherwise you end up never learning a song properly.

There heaps of classical guitar tab at http://www.classtab.org/

full of heaps of mistakes too.

I also use a program called tabledit, you can import midi files into and it converts it to music and guitar tab. But it has a habit of missing notes.
