Ah yes, nothing like Hollywood to make us feel bad about ourselves just because we are not what they glorify.

My greatest fears:

1. Becoming paralyzed and then being tortured by someone who could get away with it, while I could do nothing to stop it.

2. Being tortured by a close family member, boyfriend, or other person I trusted.

Paralysis, Special Handling Unit, isolation cells, rubber rooms, handcuffs, chains, leg shackles, restraint chairs, restraint beds, "direct care" staff (big fat hulking men and women), Judge Rotenberg Center, Tobinworld, worse places than that, Nurse Ratcheds of this world, being a quadraplegic or paraplegic, having a stroke, death penalty, anti-gun laws, aversive therapy, chemical restraints, restraint positions, books that brainwash people about me, assumptions, all other kinds of restraints or aversives and discrimination I didn't mention.

That the object of my affection won't wait for me to graduate from college before starting a relationship, despite my profound willingness to wait however long it takes for her to be ready.

Okay, here's a huge one I forgot to say. I fear becoming physically or mentally incapacitated, permanently. Temporarily is bad enough. Being blind or deaf, especially blind, would be horrible; that would really hamper my ability to get stimulated in non-sexual and non-sports ways. Being a vegetable is a fear of mine, being unconscious for a long long time is a fear of mine, or being fully aware but people think I'm unconscious or a vegetable that doesn't even feel pain and they try to kill me by starving me or slitting my throat or strangling or suffocating me or some horrible way like that. Being a paraplegic or quadraplegic isn't so bad compared to some things, but f**k, the thought of that scares the s**t out of me. Ever since I saw Million Dollar Baby, I was more careful not to trip on stuff on stairs and that. Being insane is a fear of mine, being so partitioned I'm part happy, part sad, part depressed, part angry, part this, part that, part the other thing, this part is also happy, this little part is really depressed and scared, this part over here is terrified and understimulated... and don't know how to express myself. Being unable to express myself or connect or get stimulation without help, or even with help, is a horrible horrible fear of mine. And being so complex I don't know how to express myself and people think I'm simple.

People like you, whose behaviour I will never understand, scare me. You make a reasonable comment - that people shouldn't criticise your religion in this thread, and then for some bizarre reason feel the need to declare that those who don't follow your religion deserve eternal suffering. You are a hypocrite - you won't let people say bad things about your religion, but you say bad things about athiests.

As for thsoe people saying Christians burn people, name a religion that hasn't had followers that burned people or tortured others in some way. There will always be cruelty, it has nothing to do with religion. History is full of cruel things from every culture. And I think it's fairly obvious that normal modern day Christians like the sort i see every day don't go around burning people alive.

Bleach, disinfectant and chemicals - I keep worrying that I could accidentally drink them and die.
(This will sound silly) Stickers - They have always gave me an uncomfortable feeling and I've never liked them.

That global warming will bring a end to the world, and that it was totally preventable, and that money brought a end to the human race!! ! It is happening every single day, just look around you and you see it everywhere, and that is why this is my biggest fear. I also think it should be a fear that everyone else has inside of them!! !
