How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days-Really cute, with very little foul language, a rarity in movies today.

The President's Analyst, if you can find it. Waaaaay ahead of its time with conspiracies and mind control and the CIA. But its laugh out loud funny, and holds up very well.

Oh and I have to add Black Sheep, a movie I've seen recently from NZ. Gory but hilarious. Just the plot of altered sheeps taking over is historical.

Not very tasteful, but you get to learn about NZ

wow, thanks, that's a lot of movies!

Shaun of the Dead: very good! no one wanted t osee it at my house, because of my brief "romantic zombie comedy" (their faces --> 8O 8O 8O 8O )
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little miss sunshine, How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days: good ones,

mikebw! woah! I've only seen a few (lebowski, benny & joon, modern times, ed wood!), thanks!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Mean Girls, good movie  , I just saw it a couple of days ago, thumbs up

MissC: remember the saying: "Always outnumbered, never outgunned" (it's an album BTW)

I was going to say Talladega Nights: The ballad of Ricky Bobby but it was one of the first movies mentioned. The first time I seen that movie, I laughed until I cried.

Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) is still the perfect dark comedy, and given a lot of credit for being a pioneer of that genre.

I've seen it about 6-7 times and it still makes me laugh. (And I'm picky ;) ) Even if you saw some high school's half-assed production, it doesn't come close to this all-star cast film version.
