I can't sing :P My sister said my singing is like screaming leeches thrown into a fire. I guess I would be a tree :(

at least listen to the song
(its 3 parts spanning a 25 minute period)

I'd sing the parts of Peter Gabriel (the lead singer-the dude with the weird costumes)
and you Phil Collins (the drummer)

If it's gonna be a musical, we gotta have a love song...

To the tune of "Yesterday."

Aspie one,
You've got gas masks from World War One,
And fifty volumes on flares from the sun.
Oh, I love you, my aspie one.

Can't you see
Your non-verbal disability
Makes me love you so logically
When you talk for hours about pine trees.

I could never love an NT,
It wouldn't go.
They all think I'm weird, with no empathy, and so,

You mean so much,
But I just can't stand your gentle touch.
Tell me once again which popes were Dutch
And I'll tell you about frogs and such.

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?
You were quiet, just like mice. And now you say that we're not nice.
Well thank you buddy for your advice...

haa! That's hilarious...when this thread first appeared I couldn't wait to run off and write songs for it..but didn't want to run th risk of going overboard...

I would have to insist on writing original melodies though, rather than takes on other songs...just so the musical would have it's own identity and such...

CanyonWind that's hilarious.

Pleeeeease!!

I've seen PoopyLungStuffing sing and she's brilliant!

Hmmmm, maybe PoopyLungStuffing could sing it for you.

*gismo appears, on the roof of a building in the backround of the stage, and drops a Toshiba laptop off the edge of it.*

Intro: I really hate Toshibas, and you'll soon hear why I do
and If you also find it annoying, you can sing along too...

Chorus: And it's really really anoying, and it was not even heard...
That Toshibas actually did not come with Microsoft Word!

1. Microsoft Office, didn't cause this dilemma
To do that they'd have to be more clever.
Or clever, enough, to realise that it was tough
To find a stupid copy hidden in the shops

Chorus: And it's really really anoying, and it was not even heard...
That Toshibas actually did not come with Microsoft Word!

Musical cheers topic

Would it be a play by Andrew Lloyd Webber? Or a reasonable facsimile? :D

The Planet is alive, with the Sound of Music! :D

We could all do a reworded version of "We are the World".."We are Wrong Planet" as a finale.

Great Aspierations! :D

Were we to go to an outside source for the music, I would insist upon enlisting Sondheim...I think he is still alive.

Poopylungstuffing

Agree completely. A musical ought to have original music. That's the whole idea. I can't contribute to that, I'm afraid, since I don't compose music.

Smelena

I don't have any recording technology. Also, I think I must have an annoying aspie voice, since I notice people I don't know respond to me over the phone the same way they do in person.

I'm getting to like this idea though, if we could make it work. Talk about raising awareness...

I think it would be a lot more effective than some public service message telling people they should try to appreciate people they intensely dislike.
