Yeah whenever I get the chance. Not many channels where I live so I usually watch shows at my mom's place.

Hey, we where talking about Ugly Betty! let's get back on track ok?

So, who's your favorite character and why? (not including Betty)

Well the two I like are Amanda and Marc. They both play off eachother's egos real well and come up with the quirkiest motives for their plans that seem to eventually fail.

If I had to choose one character I guess I'd pick Amanda simply because she always has a sneaky surprise waiting for her. I think she's hilarious as well for being an upper crust snob with these crazy idiosyncracies like binging on food and contradicting everyone who crosses her path. The surprise attacks she pulls on Betty are crazy. She's one of those characters you wanna hate but on the other hand, feel compelled to watch simply because of that comical wickedness. So I find entertainment of characters to be those who have a style of their own so to say.

I really haven't been keeping up with the show lately.

You know I heard at least in my area, all cable will go out in I think 2009 since they're going to use a new digital way of watching TV. I don't understand it myself but surprise surprise, I think these companies just want us to buy their expensive cable with additional crap I wouldn't have a interest in. Greedy cable pigs!

Amanda! She's lovely, even though she is kind of mean to Betty, we see she also suffers and well, she is likable

Marc, he is cool, we also see some of his life, not too much, but well, he also is likable.

Even Wilhemina is likable!

I'd like to know more about Betty's friend, the irish?scottish? one, I forgot her name! We don't know a lot about her don't you think!?!

I agree with liking the Irish/Scottish chick,

in fact I almost put her down but I don't know much about her. She's like the only normal one in the competitive business.

what means "put down"?

Make fun of her, or "put her down" by making her seem "below you".

Like "You are stupid" is "putting someone below you", its a "put down". Its basically an insult.
