By far one of the greatest in the gaming world, I remember reading about it in Nintendo Power and playing it on the release date. My cousin and I could not put it down.

Chrono trigger is common on Ebay but usually expensive.

You can easily google "Chrono Trigger ROM" and find many download sites for it. As for an emulator to run it, look for ZSNES. It's easy to use and runs awesome.

Simply the best game on the SNES.
Handpainted graphics, beautifully orchestrated music,
a secret character who is the most AWESOME SECRET CHARACTER
IN THE UNIVERSE!! !

Perhaps I just like blue hair?

A few months ago, I got a copy of chrono trigger off of Ebay and got my dusty old SNES system out from the basement. I'm not a hard core rpg fan or even much of a video game fan for that matter, but I kept on hearing (on the internet) how incredible crono trigger was and became interested. In my opinion, it is one of the best games ever made. It is one of the few games I have actually played all the way through and beaten.

Has anyone else played or heard of chrono trigger?

have you tried the alternate endings? there are 20 8O

I love Dragon Warrior, and I really liked the Seiken Densetsu series, but for some reason I could never get into Chrono Trigger

All my friends say there's something wrong with me :x

I'll probably give it a third chance after Mother 3 comes out. Right now I'm on some really weird nostalgia kick for Final Fantasy  I had a HUGE falling out with the series after 7 and 8 came out, but playing through the GBA remakes, I'm starting to remember what I liked about them as a kid (and what I hated).

Now if only SquareEnix will give us some more ENIX love  Dragon Quest IX on the way \m/ And if DQ4 remix doesn't come out in the States, I'll be pretty upset =/

(sorry for arsing your thread)

Mother 3? Are you playing the japanese version or did you get the ROM?

I'm also a huge fan of earthbound.

I'm not playing it, I'm waiting until the fan translation comes out (and then I'll play the ROM, of course).

I love EarthBound...I remember being obsessed with it even before it came out, when Nintendo Power were pimping the crap out of it (and giving us nasty scratch and sniffs). Saved up all my pennies (literally, I got paid a penny for each dish I dried) and bought it as soon as we could find a store that had it \m/ My $10 off cupon from NP brought it down to $70 >_<

Man, those were the days...

One thing I really regret though was sticking to the stupid strategy guide too much...must've been way cooler for those guys who never got to play it until emulation, I know the entire game front to back, and it kinda ruined it for me.

One of my major fantasy worlds consists of nothing but Chrono Trigger elements.

Ahhh, good times.
