Don't ask me how long I can sleep! I Don't sleep.. or if I do, it's about 3 hours a night...

So about 15 hours in a week.. wow...

The rest of the time, I am awake.. I just can't sleep. Never have. Never will be able to!

I have a hard time staying asleep. I usually wake up in an hour after initially falling asleep. And wake up every 30 to 60 mins thereafter, usually. Not much sleep here.

I'm sleeping 17 hours at a time at the moment, it's annoying because I can't get into a pattern.

You know it's strange. I can go a day without sleep. Have nights where I keep waking up after a couple of hours of sleep.

Then, it gets worse in days, I can sleep from a day to a night.

Same here - DXed sleep apnea. Could that be the issue? You just described my exact sleep pattern. I haven't slept more than one continuous hour in many years.

I don't believe I have sleep apnea. It's stress related. I have huge stress. The intensity comes and goes. Right now, it's at an all time high.
It's always been hard for my brain to settle down. It doesn't want to sleep. But I guess that's stress, too...

Anxiety, and the inability to manage it, is definitely an AS trait. Thank God it is one I don't seem to have. Good luck with that.

Oh? I didn't know that. But all this is very new to me.
I've had anxiety pretty bad for a couple decades now. Agoraphobia too. And currently, it's extremely intense.

I don't sleep a lot, usually between six and seven hours. If I have slept badly several nights in a row, I might sleep for as long as eight and a half hours, but that is rare and doesn't happen more frequently than every three months or so.
