Same here, but I have to make the best of what I have right now.

Yeah, you're right Yoshie. I think I just get my hopes way too high sometimes. I'm just having an off day I guess.

I'm lower middle class. I have two older sisters and a younger brother. My parents, my brother and I all live with one of my sisters, her husband, and two small children. I dropped out of school and collect disability. Think what you will, but don't give me crap about it. You don't know me and your words won't make me change my life.

Anyway, I spend the majority of my days daydreaming about an imaginary world where my favorite fictional characters are my best friends, and my favorite fantasies get played out just the way I want them to. I attempt to illustrate and write down my mental escapades, but I never, ever save anything I put to paper. I also spend a lot of time running up and down the sidewalk in the cul-de-sac to help calm me down when I feel edgy.

When I'm not in my fantasy world or out running, I'm on the computer. I go to the same websites every day, but even though it's monotonous, I get very upset if I can't be on it.

So yep, that's basically what it's like to be me.

Your life sounds like what mine was like when I was younger. No, we can't really change someone's life that easily. Besides, who are we to judge?! We all love you just the way you are! :)

Aw, thank you. You're a great friend. :) Sorry for being so defensive, but there seems to be a bad stigma surrounding people who don't finish school, as well as people who collect disability, so I just wanted to defend myself before the holier-than-thous started chewing me up.

My brother didn't finish school. I don't collect disability, but I DO want my university disability support services to start teaching Autism to our education majors, since CWU specializes in education. Thank you for calling me a friend! If you ever want to talk, go ahead and PM me! :)

I'm working hard on getting my high school diploma, 2 months away, and all I really have to do is show up and finish a little bit of my senior project. I'm fighting a mental illness that's making me severely depressed. I've never once had friends at school, and I never had friends until I got a job. Nearly everyone is my friend there, and I'm paranoid that my terrible social skills might cause me to lose them someday. I'm also working to be promoted to manager at the movie theater I work at once I graduate, hoping to work the projection room.

Basically, I go to school and work everyday. The days I don't work, I post here.

In my life...
I am about done with my spring semester. Already done with Bio I. I just have my Short Story class left. I have to do a paper for that, which I haven't started. I have about a week to do it now.
I'm about caught up on my bills... all I have left is my car insurance which I should be able to pay off soon.
After many costly fixes to my mercedes sedan, I've decided to retire the vehicle. In a couple years it'll be eligible for antique stasis and with the high price of diesel, it's just too costly for me to continue using on a regular basis. I'll be using the family volkswagon bug most of time now instead.
I'm getting pretty eager for GTA IV... I'll have some free time in May which I plan to use for this.

I'm thinking about coming out to my family about aspergers after I'm done with the semester.
