i love the Bruce Timm/Paul Dini series. i watched it all the time as a kid, and you're right it still stands up remarkably well. the guys who've come since just can't top it.

and i love all the villains on their show. i mean sure Mark Hamill is on fire as The Joker, but they're all great. even the lame one-off villains like the guy with the hypnotic eye and the guy who kept all the kids captive in the sewer.

I absolutely loved this. It was dark, brooding, and surprisingly grown-up (bad guys were shown smoking and using actual guns, rather than the laser-blasters found in other cartoons).

And Mark Hamill's Joker IS the definitive Joker - and the relationship between that Joker and Harley Quinn was brilliant. Harley was a great character in and of herself, but when she was paired up with "Mistah J" or Poison Ivy, she shone.

I liked it. I'd watch it when I'd get home from school.

I liked Two-Face with his coin.

It might be my favorite animated show of all time.

It was awesome. I like Batman of the Future too, but it doesn't come close to the old series.
