On a package of cookies (or about anything) it says "Open Here" on the top of the box.

Well, I'm going to eat them here, I'd almost have to open them here. Glad it doesn't say "Open Somewhere Else". I'd be wondering around all day looking for a good place.

On the underside of a pillow-top mattress: Not a sleeping surface.

We turned the mattress over and sleep on the underside because the pillow-top is too soft and we get back aches from it. It was my husband's idea. When I saw the "warning label" I said "but it says this is not a sleeping surface." My husband said "yeah, they say all kinds of things, doesn't mean you have to believe them." We've been sleeping on the underside of the mattress for three months and nothing bad has happened :roll: Yet.

I have came across bags of sugared peanuts with "warning: may contain traces of nuts" on the label.

They probably mean hazelnuts. I'm allergic to hazelnuts. Properly speaking, peanuts aren't nuts but legumes.

I'm allergic to latex - like seriously allergic to the point where the non-latex and 'regular' bandages have to be kept in separate drawers and there are no latex balloons even allowed in the house.

On a box of LATEX FREE bandages there was a warning that said 'warning: may contain latex'
it's sufficient to say I didn't buy those.

In England there is a road sign saying "Warning. Heavy plant crossing" this used to amuse me as a child picturing some huge thistle bullying it's way across the road.

I always miss that somehow and end up opening the wrong end

So I've got a torn up mess on one end, and the other end has an easy-open pulltab and a reclosable tab still intact :roll:
