My avatar was chosen because it was in the WP gallery, easy access. It means no more than, "I am a white guy, serious yet forgiving, with blue eyes, who sometimes wears a hat."


Someday, I will change it to something more personal and friendly.

I changed mine again! I hope this shows my sweet side (with a little pout )

Jawbrodt, I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time now. I think this is because of your avatar but I hear what I think is your voice whenever I read your posts. It is a deep, macho voice of a guy with huge bulging muscles that is getting ready to kick my a$$.

But now that I look at it, I do see what you are talking about.

I love your avatar! It's one of my favorites on this forum! I assume there's a larger version of that image somewhere? If so, how might I find it?

Technically, the avatar we choose is supposed to represent us but sometimes it's so hard to find the one that suits a person.

I'm glad you chose Debbie Harry! That's a far superior choice compared to the others you mentioned, based on my own personal taste. That picture is nice to look at.

I'm afraid I've forgotten where I found it, but I'll scrounge around for you.

I`ll try a picture, because I notice that those who have pictures, are less "mysterious" in a way, to me, when I look at posts. Its something that "feels" easier or something when you know the face i think.

When I look at the avatar, my mind tells me big, serious guy with a lot to think about. But I have no grounds to make that conclusion and say its right could be a 14 year old girl behind the drawing for all I know. But still, my mind seem so sure.. Thats how many mistakes happen I guess.

I'm kind of the same way, but what do you think of people who have avatars depicting people other than themselves?

This is the first picture of me on the net ever dont like it, but what the h***, taking the chance. I will probably not kill me.

No problem with the avatars that doesnt show the people. Thats ok. I just feel slightly more at ease when i write with someone and know ca. how they look. Just a feeling, maybe others have it the same way, thats my main reason behind the picture of myself. Maybe create a little more ease for someone. ........And then it hit me, how does one know that its really me in the picture.. could be my neighbour for all you know.. hehe oh well

I have two avatars I use.

This one reminds me of a lovely evening I spent with my children and grandchildren when we went to see 'Hedwig'. Through our restaurant we met the cast and Aaron played the lead and this is a photo of Arron. He was one of the sweetest guys I've met. He had us come back stage before the performance, was attentive to our granddaughters and let them put on make-up. During his performance he even adlibed to promote the restaurant and the after party was, I guess cool, but being aspie I pretty much stayed on the sidelines.
