As for my name: I used to own parakeets and still own Cockatiels (which are a sort of parakeet.)

Sort of course being an Irish and Gaelic word...

I think iamnotaparakeet is very learned. And yet the Latin obsession did seem to crop up over night. I wonder if Ben has been taken hostage by a parakeet who is fluent in Latin and wishes to convert the masses to his beloved language of yore. 8O

Interestingly, this Latin-speaking kidnapping parakeet appears to be a devout Christian too. Perhaps they met at church? :o
