I like names ending with the -a. I know this is quite unusual for a male, so my options are quite limited (I wouldn't mind having a female-esque name but legally it would not be possible in my jurisdiction) but the Slavic language has a few nice male names ending with an -a.
So I guess I would go for either Ivica or so if I would be able to change my name.
But I am not keen on changing my first name. I would love to change my surname though. First of all it sounds awful, living abroad few people can pronounce or remember it, and apart from my parents I have no contacts left whatsoever with my family (who are mostly terrible people to be honest). So I would love to change surname, unfortunately it is an expensive procedure except for those in the UK who can use deed poll.
