Musical repetitiveness typically aspie?

I've listened to the same CD in my vehicle for several months straight. Once for a year solid. It can drive passengers nuts. But I don't get the urge to change it when I enjoy and still have more parts to learn in my head.

What I find cool is that no matter how often I hear the song, I will hear something new causing the excitement each time again. Be it a background noise, the intensity of the bassline I never heard before, the way of pronounciation of a certain word by the singer, ... That alone can make me want to play the song over and over again.

No, I do this, too.Every f*****g day. But it never bothers me - just the others, haha :lol: Right now, I am nuts about the song "Broken arrow" by The album leaf.

I do play the same song over and over but not for hours. It would drive me crazy and it gets boring for me. I do however play the same album over and over when I have a favorite and it's related to my obsession.
