I love the night. I am a creature of the night and I always have so much more energy in darkness .

I'm inspired by Batman to go out at night and fight crime. Or not.

Me too... Maybe the reason why I love the night so much is because of my fondness for vampires.

I love the night. Sorry for the goth cliche, but I really do. I love big cities, the countryside would drive me insane. But big cities are better during nighttime than day time. Daytime is noisy, crowdy and rushy. At night the city is calm, quiet and beautiful. Buildings look so beautiful when they're lit. My ideal would be working and living during the night in a big city, crossing the city every night and enjoying the beauty of the nocturnal metropolis. I also walk around at night a lot now, it calms me down before going to sleep. I often go to sleep only at 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM.

By the way, The Damned have a cool song about this: Wait For The Black-out

Let's wait for the black-out, the light is too bright
Wait for the black-out, wait for the night!

In darkness there is no sin, no light to bring the fear
Nothing to corrupt the eyes, there is no vision here
At first you may find it strange, but do not go away
The darkness holds a power that you won't find in the day!

I like em both for different reasons. I do enjoy sunlight and walking. But there's less humans out at night, and that helps whether I'm inside or outdoors. Less noise, less distractions. I've taken all-night walks in the city, and I'm just getting on the train to go home as all those fools are commuting in to work. I also have more energy and creativity at night.
I don't keep a schedule but get up at noon and retire at 4AM is average.

Awesome quote, though I wish I had come up with it instead of her... Grr... I hate Angelina Jolie.

I feel the same way, and it's probably why I'm such a poor sleeper. At night it's quiet and peaceful, no one bothers me since they're all sleeping. I'd rather use that time to relax and enjoy the quiet than sleep it all away.

I can't stand her either, but had to give credit where due...did not want to appear to claim it for my own...one of my favorites though.

I find my mind is more awake at night yet I tend to experience worries and more melancholy....

Oh man, I love the night. So quiet. So calm. I can think and focus without any distractions. Ever listen to the wind through the trees at night with the moon out? Very cool. I love being up around 1 or 2 AM and no one else is about.
