I would choose the panther, but since we can choose mythical I will chose a vampire, I like reading some of the older ideas of vampires. Such as there conection to cats, some were suposed to be able to turn into cats and the cat would have two tails, also there used to be myth that if a cat when over the body then the body would become a vampire.

Hey, vampires are undead, hardly an animal. At least a dragon is a type of lizard, and a hippogriff.... well.... I don't know what it is, but it isn't undead.

Realy actualy a vampire is suposed to be a spirit that is often found in animal form, it then takes control of a dead body as the spirit has left the body.

Zombies are suposed to be bodies without a mind or spirit, often it is a body that is animated by pure magic, such as voodoo. Yeah I did research into these.
