In some parts of the world yes. Might lead to a lot of Caesarian-sections, because the hip bones are too small. Otherwise, the government might mandate the murder of the offspring or forced sterilization. That is if the case is genetic versus an intake of hormones from foods.

Yes, our democratic and free society (for those of us who live in democratic nations) unfortunately creates some perverse incentives, as the government is not going to come in and kill the babies of those who really had no business reproducing in the first place.

That's absolutely disgusting. 8O

It is kinda sad though that little girls have body hair in the first place. Is there research being done to try to find causes and preventions of early puberty? I started puberty at 9, and it was fairly horrible. I'm lucky that I didn't have periods until I was 12. I think there may be a link between early puberty and anorexia, and it's certianly distressing so people should be trying to stop this.

Dont think nine is that unusual, and theres a real bad
hysteria going on, we have these smooth looking models
and crap looking down on us, and for some reason many
think that it is the natural way to look, thats how they should
look. We`re all hairy, we have hairs all over our bodys, some tiny,
some bigger, its a human-thing, why fight it so bad

if the concern is that girls are growing hair on their legs early and getting laughed at, then the parents should introduce them to shaving their legs. Not waxing.

I remembered Project Runway (first season), Tim Gunn is talking to a model, and at a moment she said "I'm 18", and everyone was 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O. She looked like a fully developed woman (and I think Tim Gunn was hitting on her :wink:)
