Yes, that what i mean, my point of wiew on this is clear, and it is that
way because of religious people i have met. I know not all are like that,
but damn, theres to many of them anyway. Eery single day theres some
more crap in the papers, and in the other end stands religion. Its not
getting better, its getting worse and worse from my point of wiew. It
stinks.

Too many of whom? People who accept the God of the Bible, or people who claim to be religious but deny God by their actions?

Consider the media you are reading. According to some, it's all Christian propaganda. Would you say that's the case?


And, in relation to the topic: I recommend that nobody watches this absurd film.

gues I will have to wait for the Halo movie for a possible good space movie. I say tell every religion that the other is the devil and then they will kill each other out.

To many of those who act real bad. Have no problem with people
who accept God, but they have to behave themselfes, like the rest of us.

I`m not only talking about the news in the papers, theres alot of them there,
but i know papers are a little so-and-so sometimes when it comes to facts.
I`m mostly talking about the personal things i`ve seen, experienced, people
i`ve met here in norway et cetera. And all those things put togheter have given
me a very bad wiew on religious people, i`m always a little on guard when around
them, its just the way it has become for me, i`m not out looking for religious
people to stomp on at all, but many of them make it hard not to. People should
behave no matter what they belive. One of my biggest "issues" is the "satan
made me do it"-thing. Saw a guy on tv, he had molested his daughter and was very
open about it, because it wasn`t his fault at all. Satan had told him to do it so he
had to. Could not promise it would not happen again. You know, i just wanted to
kill that guy, plain and simple. Had to turn off the tv, he got me into such a rage.
Discusting.

You can't use being tricked by satin as an excuse, if so it would be more probable to hapen again and punishement would be the only way to prevent it from hapening again. The simple thing is that religion can not beat science in something like that.

Isn't Starship Troopers supposed to be a satire?

And I don't mind religious people as long as they keep it to themselves (don't try and convert people) and as long as they realise on some level that they have their beliefs to make their own lives easier - not because they think they're right.

A lot of religion these days is just about being apart of a community, and for people to have something to fall back on. A lot of cults see this, lure people in, and then start f*****g with their heads

"Devil made me do it" is a ridiculous excuse usually coming from children. Adults who carry on this practice probably were spoiled brats throughout childhood, but I don't know that.

Science is merely knowledge of the operations of the physical world, so why the heck would it have anything to say about discipline?

I don't mind Atheists as long as they keep it to themselves (don't try and convert people) and as long as they realize on some level that they have their beliefs to make their own lives easier - not because they think they're right.

Satire was probably Ed's goal, but he really messed it up and crossed a few lines he SHOULDN'T have crossed.

The first starship troopers was definately a satire (and an awesome one), I haven't seen the others so I can't really comment.

How does being an athiest make your life easier? And noone should ever go out of their way to try and convert people to their own belief, because noone is right; whatever their religion (or lack thereof).

I just altered what you said by replacing two palabras con uno and removing "And" from the beginning.

First movie was better than the second. Both could have done without the nudity IMO. Second one is the introduction to the mind control parasites and has people taking shelter in a fort that is shaped like a hammer and has a Tesla coil perimeter which gets shut down in the end. Two remaining non-infected people run up to the heliport where the spaceship arrives in the nick of time. The girl leaves on the spacecraft while the hero, who would be court-marshaled, stands on the heliport shooting bugs until he dies while his girl flies back to earth.

Roughnecks was far superior to the movies.

Thank you, yes, its a ridiculous excuse, and when adults use it its a little scary and
creapy i feel. One thing is people who have gone insane for real and see the devil
and talk to things thats not there and such, looney-toons, but when "normal" people who
function well and are a part of a society do it, it gets a little scary

The second one sucked in compaerison, they spend most of there time in some fort doing nothing, and then they start getting brain bugs spitting bugs out there mouth. Not realy many cool fighting scens like in the first where they defend the fortres from that huge army.

I watched a small part of the second film, but it wasn't that great, and I'd already heard poor things about it, so I just didn't bother with the rest.
