I know more about evolution then you do

I know plenty about it, but that doesn't mean I have to accept it hook, line, and sinker though.

So how did the diversity of life arise? If you don't think evolution is a scientific theory, have you any alternatives that don't rely on unprovable assumptions?

I find it hard to believe that there are people who question the validity of evolution. Do these people also question gravity, genetics, nuclear physics?

Evolution is not a belief, it is a theory based on the observation of nature.

In Europe very few people would question evolution, the Catholic church does not.

What is a provable assumption?

An assumption based on empirical evidence. There is empirical evidence for the existence of evolution. Just looks at the similarities between Humans and Chimpanzees. If you don't accept evolution, then modern biology is wholly impossible for you to study. Genes are also impossible.

I wish some clear "100% this is it" evidence appeared when it comes
to the evolution discussion, because i think what i think, but i can not
say that those who disagree with me are wrong, i have no proof, they
could be right no matter how sure i am myself of this and that *sigh*
but it is interessting

I don't understand what you saying here.

If you have no proof, why do you believe? Proof (empirical evidence) should be a pre-requisite for a scientific concept that says something about our world.

Do you not understand basic scientific theory?

Quote:
1. Use your experience: Consider the problem and try to make sense of it. Look for previous explanations. If this is a new problem to you, then move to step 2.
2. Form a conjecture: When nothing else is yet known, try to state an explanation, to someone else, or to your notebook.
3. Deduce a prediction from that explanation: If you assume 2 is true, what consequences follow?
4. Test : Look for the opposite of each consequence in order to disprove 2. It is a logical error to seek 3 directly as proof of 2. This error is called affirming the consequent.

Yes, i understand, but when it all comes down to the
bottom line (just mean for me personally) i know nothing
of how it works. I know of the theorys that exists and some
of them make much more sense to me then others, but
still, i cant call it definitive proof when i look at the "thing" i
live in/am a part of. (again, talking about my own thoughts,
not trying to make a point or anything here) Our history is
full of things we belived 100% and then it turned out to be
a mirage anyway

--

Forgot to answer your Q- I dont belive, I observe things, look
at them from as many angels as i can and think, but i dont trust
human jugdement at this point in history enough to belive anything
to be 100% sure. I study alot of things, but that doesn`t mean i
belive them, i just study them. I dont think i could study something
if i where to belive it 100%, because then i have already made up
my mind, its closed. I`m open, as open as they get

I never thought of AS being a disability, I am still able bodied, my brain is fully functional, I don't see this as a birth defect either.
Sure it sounds great to think were are more evolved, but I highly doubt that, it may be a normal part of being human, as a rule the entire human race is not normal, there is no such thing.

It at least makes employment difficult.

I find it sort of funny how easily people can be
pissed off if evolution is questioned, don't you?

Whoa, people. Looks like this is turning into a heated discussion. Also looks like it's going off-track too

Try questioning gravity or special relativity or quantum mechanics. You have questioned nothing. You have put forward no ideas about evolution or its validity. You are being intentionally vague and defensive because you are confused and do not understand what you are talking about.

I do not think it is possible to be more evolved. Survival is the only way of judging the success of one group compared to another. There is no such thing as "superiority", only adaptation to one's environment. We are equal to NTs but we are different and that's great. We need diversity, both neurological and biological.
