That last picture dropped out constant freaky cgs and i tried to take pics of them once the mozzies are biting me!

--------------------------------------------
Sunday Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms, some possibly severe. Light to moderate southeast winds, tending northeasterly later.

Today is looking better than yesterday due to stormcast. Li going down again to -9 today and CAPE trying to make it stronger towards 2400.

Bring it on storms again please! It's 25.4/19.3 and feels like 27.2 now at 9am. Pretty heating up so early and i'm going to put a bet on storms earlier development today than yesterday.

Here's a good site: http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR66 ... shtml#skip

It looks like some people are getting a hammering today!

Although we've had 'Afternoon Storms' forecast all week,
I've had nothing so far in 'Southport' in the above map.

Had a very fantastic supercell with strong to gusty inflow winds and heavy rainfalls. Lightning and thunder are just constant! They wouldn't stop and couldn't hear my dad talking!! Scored lovely 15mm here (at my mum's place in Ballina scored 12mm) and max wind gusts up to 80-90km/hr at times. So here of my best 12 pictures.

I live in New South Wales, and I know we've had storms this.
But I personally cannot remember them taking part. :?

I've seen all the storms detected on the radar, but they haven't seem to have done much.

We had distant thunder yesterday evening, no rain. The storm was to the west when I looked outside (and is evidenced by the above Satellite photos)
Still drove the dog batty though. It doesnt matter how faint the thunder is, he barks like mad :?

Morning. I will put up my lightning pictures up later after school. Its already hot and muggy here nearly 7am. Further showers and storms today with max of 32 degrees again! I would not surprise they be severe again due to deep instability still left around!

For this afternoon. Pretty nice storms firing up on western slopes and that going heading for the tablelands and eventually into north coast area later this afternoon/evening. Might get another series of severe storms or either supercells last few days! Hopefully get some more rains!
