I drink a glass of wine occasionally, but that's it.

I have no desire to get drunk.

I find it extremely repulsive. The mere smell of beer revolts me. Half of my friends don't care, and the other half pities me that I'm losing one of the joys of life. I pity them.

If all you ever smell is mass-produced gunk I'm not surprised it revolts you. And you are missing out on one of the pleasures of life - when it's good stuff.

And alcohol belongs to the kind of drugs that makes you leave control over yourself. A no go for a control freak like myself.

i have exactly the same relationship to alcohol. i am a control freak, too ;)

So there are already three of us with the same approach and taste.

If I ever drink, it takes place only at such parties like a family member's name day http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_day or a christening party, occasions like that. And even then I drink VERY little.

I don't drink any adult beverages, but once in a while I take a sip of cold medicine that has a little alcohol in it.

I love alcohol. I am much more in control of my emotions when I've had a drink and hence, less depressed. Unlike medication, there are no side-effects as long as you don't drink too much.

I drink very rarely, and when I do, it's usually beer...everything else tastes like rubbing alcohol to me and gives me a bad buzz.

I've only thrown up once, and I've never had a hangover.

I'm very taste-sensitive and I love good alcohol, although in moderation. I'm a master cocktail-maker and I could mix you guys up drinks that don't even taste like alcohol at all but would get you a nice buzz and a chilled-out feel.

if I ever open a bar you're all invited :D

I'm normally stuck being the designated driver, since I refuse to try alcohol. My dad was an alcoholic and I know from my experiences with other things that I get addicted to stuff very easily, so I'm literally "afraid I might like it" and end up not being able to keep myself to enjoy it in moderation only.

Besides the whole going to a party and waking up with vomit and no memory of what happened the night before really doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy. Can't understand why anybody does it at all.

Good beer is my favorite but I usually only drink it on weekends and in moderation. I have a little bit of red wine every evening, too.
