You're going to do serious damage to your liver and kidneys if you keep that up. Energy drinks are really bad for you.

Just a thought.

Pretty much. Though I don't know how strictly the Orthodox Jews observe their dietary law compared with the Mormons.

Yep. I know. It's why I want to quit again.

Two people I know have had kidney troubles. Though it was probably a genetic thing, energy drinks exacerbated the problem...

I used to rail on the dangers of both drinks too. That's the sad part!

I guess I said something unintentionally funny...

I honestly do not know about the practices of Orthodox Jews. Never met one. Are they pretty strict?

I used to drink 10+ cups of coffee and tea per day, but lately I've only been drinking 1 or 2 cups. I'm not sure why, I just don't crave it like I used to. Probably because the stimulant effect has long since parted. Now, it just seems like I drink it out of habit.

What is a mitochondrial disorder? It's something genetic, right?

Yeah, it is. It is something inherited, that make the mitochondria in the body unable to do their work efficiently.

Coffee is an excellent way to consume large amounts of calories and lose a few bucks a day.

But ain't nothing like it to get you through the winter months. Withdrawal sucks, but there's an easy way to avoid it...

As far as the caloric content, are you talking about coffee in general or just coffee with a lot of cream and sugar mixed in? Because I always drink mine black, and it doesn't seem like something that would have a lot of calories.

It is caffeine that sets my mind in motion
It is from the juice of the bean that my thoughts acquire speed, my hands begin to shake, the shakes become a warning...;)

:eew: Most coffee is sufficiently awful that copious amounts of cream and sugar are imperative. Although if you do not add anything, it should be pretty much calorie free.
