Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Pizza Pie, and 3.1415926535....... Ask Daniel Tammet; he holds the world record for reciting Pi to 22,514 decimal places in 5 hours and 9 minutes at Pi Day 2004. (He has AS, savant syndrome, and synesthesia

The record is 100,000 set by some other savant guy (not sure if he's autistic) but Daniel Tammet is VERY COOL! I wanna get his book actually.
It makes my memorisation to 150 decimal places look tame. I've forgotten most of them now. I just got the urge to learn Pi when I was around 12 years old. Not often I need Pi nowadays; the only occasion being when I'm calculating pixel coordinates when programming to draw circles, arcs or spirals on screen.
