is it a coincidence how often not owning a cell phone comes up?

i was starting to think i was unusual in this, people sometimes express suprise when i say i don't own one.

maybe reflects maintaining a small inactive social circle  ?

You have a dopamine deficiency, anna? How does that affect you? Just curious because I know someone who might have it so I am wondering what the symptoms are.

Oh yes, everyone else I know has an iPod, but I don't see the appeal. I've got a regular old RCA MP3 player and it suits me just fine.

I also know quite a few people who have PSPs and don't do a thing with them, unless they need to listen to MP3s.

Listing the things I can list off:
PSP (Don't wish to have one, thank you for your futile discussion.)
PS3 or XBOX 360 (One is carp, the other is expensive as it gets.)
MP3 player (For one, I don't really have much in terms of MP3, and two, I just want something that plays. And just that.)
A new computer. (Sure, the living room one is about 2004 or so, but the one I use... introduced in 1998, Dell OptiPlex G1.)
A prom to attend. (Two words. Home School.)
A Myspace (That place is a computer security nightmare if you are not careful, and no I don't want to know what you last [Deleted for sanity reasons]. I don't even have a social networking page.
Fashion sense. (Comfort above all else. And then ability to cover. Or the other way around.)
A large collection of rap or rock. (And, I happen to not have a very large hard drive running, thank you.)
Webcam (Sure, I got a port that could take one, but...I really don't need one.)
Messenger client. (Send me an email, I might look it over. Eventually.)
Cellphone. (And talk to whom? The air?)
A gun. (Thanks, but I would rather practice archery. And not for hunting reasons, either.)
A working TV. (Well, it works, but forget about tuning a signal, the digital conversion happened early in the city I live in.)
An SD card to call my own. (I might get one sooner than later.)
Yeah. That seems to be a good amount of things I Don't have. But I do have a Legend Of Zelda Cartridge. And it still works.

I don't have a home phone...I use skype or a cell phone

no kids, and no desire to have kids (that seems to be a big deal for people around my age) :?

no Job

no myspace account

no desire to socialize

no desire to change...

The interesting thing about this thread is that it will hopefully point out our similarities and not allow us to dwell on our differences and shortcomings. I guess

I don't care for stuff others have.

I have a job,

a door closer

and a life worth living.

What should I want more?
