Not saying anything bad or anything, but the title of this post reminded me of a SpongeBob episode called "Stanley S. SquarePants", in which SpongeBob's cousin Stanley literally breaks everything he touches, which drives SpongeBob's Uncle Sherm crazy enough to send him to SpongeBob.

I have a friend like this, chronic clumsiness. If he's drunk it'll result in countless spilled bottles.

this guy actually seems at his most comfortable, when drunk on hardcore no-bs moonshine. ive never seen him vomit, or fall over, or black out. he may still make stupid decisions, but that would sortof be his strength: impossible to drink under the table :D

Hmmm... Chronic clumsiness, likes to take things apart.... Do you think that maybe this guy is an Aspie and can't help it?

You would probably be wise, however, to keep all your valuables and breakables under lock and key whenever he's around.

O.o I broke a desk this morning, tripped over it and the wooden top tore off (apparently - from what my teacher said - not an easy thing to do) and it wasn't loose or anything either :?

I'm worried about getting glasses because I'm pretty sure I'll accidentally break them.

In a way, this reminds me of one of my friends, the difference being that everything seems to happen to him.

He is a professional photographer and his camera refuses to function in the most important moments, although he has the most expensive equipment. The tripod pinches him, the flash doesn't work and so on.

He swallowed a moth while sleeping. He got bitten by a snake while riding the bus on the highway (everything alive tries to bite him).

Taking a stroll by the lake, he through a stone to make circles in the water and accidentally decapitated a duck. He was extremely upset.

While taking pictures in Africa, a jeep ran over his foot.

And so on, something really unusual seems to occur every day.

The weird thing is he's one of the most optimistic, easy going people I know and while everybody avoids taking trips with him, he has a lot of friends that love him dearly.

It just makes you wonder how come some people- like your friend and mine - seem "doomed" to meet accidents that happen to the rest of us once or twice in a life time on daily basis :?

grinningcat: he picked the VHS cassette up, to put it into the cover. it hopped out of his hand, slammed across the floor, and broke in half. i saw it happen, still couldnt believe it :D

anna banana: he does that too, on top of breaking things by accident, he opens stuff up to check it, but those are usually electronic devices

imtheguythatdidthat: hes like that too, theyre a combination of completely ret*d behaviour, and honest accidents, but none of them surprises you :D

cowboyfromhell: my brother smashes things in anger. he has very little respect for property. every phone he owned, he has thrown into the river or something, when drunk, in anger. i lent him my phone twice, and both times, he came back having no idea where it is. luckily he found it in his pocket or something later, but the attitude enfuriates me, cus its so casual "what phone? oh, your phone, yeah, i must have thrown it in the river or something, i cant find it. ill get a friend to steal a new one for you, dont worry" :( :( :(
tell him to get a work for costruction yard....and tell em after him they need no dynamite

Reminds me of "Kyle The Toy Destroyer" from primary school. The name's kinda self-explanatory.

hes not aspie, far too social.
VERY likely adhd tho.

just yesterday he drove my brother to my mothers birthday, and he was spontaneously invited in for some cake. THAT day, he had ripped his pants apart, against his car door AND scratched the floor in his home + spilled oil all over it, from trying to repair a radio-controlled toy car. three acts of destruction that day
