Yea I'm not sure about that but it's a possibility. It wasn't really "overboard" though, he made one reflex move and it's not like he proceeded to beat the guy any further. In any event, he didn't stick around to find out--as soon as he busted the dude's arm, he took off running.

The law's iffy now a-days. Too many laws to protect the thief. They should just outright say "if your stealing, we will shoot you". Instead the crooks can sue for damages... lol
