Yeah it does; for me, at least. The quote thing is a sort of off-white, while the text in the middle of the gif is whiter, so you can see the contrast and the movement, but not necessarily decipher the text (unless you tilt the screen back... if you're on a laptop.) That's how I see it, anyways. Maybe your screen presents it differently.
