well i wish i could grow facial hair, sadly i cant. anyways washington rules, whats the cost of living there like? i know seattle is pricey but shurely theres cheap places to live there. :D

Yea, Seattle is expensive. My place is really really small and it's still a lot. You can find cheaper housing if you're willing to put up with room mates. I can't. I have to live alone or I'd freak.

There's probably cheap places if you go live in some smaller towns. The deserts east of the Cascades are sunnier, but a lot colder in the winter and hotter in the summer.
yeah i hear that gggunit, im currently in a roomate situation with my mother and its terrible. once i get out of my lease i want to get out of arizona im sick of it here.

Great photos, Marshall! Where did you take them?

P.s. If your camera has any kind of manual settings on it, try knocking the exposure down a stop - I think your photos would look even more spectacular as a result.

Thanks. The first one is on the Pacific Ocean in Washington. The rest are from hiking in the Cascades (also western Washington State).

I did tweak the settings a little for the ocean one. For the mountain ones I just let the camera choose the exposure. I have trouble being patient enough to mess with the manual settings when I'm super tired and sweaty from hiking up a mountain.

I took another hike last Monday. Got some more pics. Enjoy. I'm just getting over the soreness.

If you look closely you can see a distant hiker at the top of the switchbacks.
