Which part you don't understand Shl.... um, Paddy? The camera isn't a SRL and I bought a polarizing filter and screwed it on the fixed lens. (you know the drill)

First thanks for your advice.

I'm using an Olympus C5050 (with an UV polarizing filter). It's not a bad camera but it has a fixed (no SRL) wide zoom lens (5.7 ~ 22.9) which is great for taken photos of things like flowers, objects or a portrait of a person not that far away but not really good for landscapes and things further away. It probably can be done better than I shoot them but I'm still learning.

Um, still learning and saving some money to buy a good SRL. I was thinking of a Canon but I'm still orientating/ looking around. Won't be long though.

SRL with UV polarizing filter? Must be a new type of camera out then.

I am sure you were new to photography at one time, and I am sure you did not always have the knowledge of what a SLR is and the difference between a UV and polarizer.
But I think this thread is just to share random photos, so it dosent matter if you dont know anything about photography and just used a disposable camera or a high price SLR, doesnt really matter how much you know.

There's a difference between being new to something, and pretending to be an expert on a subject when in reality you don't know much. The former can be helped, the latter is just plain annoying.

Well, I guess that "pretending to be an expert on a subject" and you yourself have something in common then.

Did you know that erotic moose are camera shy? I suppose they're afraid of publicity. :chin:
