I used to catch grasshoppers when I was a kid. Huge big ones like 7-8cm long. I miss seeing them.

I used to do that too. I used to catch all kinds of bugs.

I did, too, as a kid. I especially liked catching fireflies, daddy long legs, and frogs (not that any of those much resemble grasshoppers). Now I just like to watch them.

I used to make little houses for frogs out of leaves when I was a kid. They would stay in them!

It was the worst birthday that the admiral could remember. It was his 56th, and he went to visit his child in the hospital.

I'm going solo today. I've been with my family of 4, my brother in law and my niece all evening, last night.

Elizabeth,I'm sorry that I had to disclose about you in psychology today. I really am. I could feel those eyes searing me. The prof. really began to pry. I felt uncomfortable.

I was thinking about dinosaurs recently (I do that a lot) and I realized that the limits of fossilization mean that some dinosaurs might be lost forever. From what I know creatures need to be covered in sand or clay or amber or something like that to fossilize. That means that if a creature dies in the mountains it probably won't fossilize.

One can imagine that during the late Cretaceous there were specialized therizinosaurs adapted to browsing on mountain vegetation that were preyed on by mountain dromaeosaurs like dinosaurian snow leopards.

Also, I’ve read about ancient sea life a lot and I’ve never heard of an ancient sea creature longer than seventy feet in length, and yet the Blue Whale can be over 110 feet long. Is the blue whale really the largest creature ever to exist? Why was the Mesozoic home to the largest flying creatures and the largest land creatures but not the largest sea creatures? To be fair most of the ancient sea life we have found we have found in places that were once shallow seas. I bet there could have been giant relatives of Leedsicthys that all sank to the bottom of the deep ocean.

Actually I am craving fish and chips with vinegar, crab cakes and hushpuppies. Last week, I saved some coupons for fish and chips and all of that at a place not too far from where I live... It's strange you asked... :) are you psychic Super?

I actually didn't know you was thinking of chips?
Maybe its a coincidence.

Strange coincidence, I'm going to get some this week when I go to get my hair cut. :)
