I like your statement. We need stones too. Couldn't build a house with just diamonds.

Accomplished: printed out and studied maps of possible canoe trips. Went for a knee scooter walk.

Woke up, got moving boxes, threw out some garbage, cleaned out recyclable sodabottles, started thinking of how i'll arrange the move and synch with people that could help with the packing and moving.

And...

While doing this, i made a new exploration ship in Elite Dangerous that could fuelscoop really fast and jump 60 lightyears. The old one did 66 LY, but with this one i don't need to loiter around a star every so often for 2 minutes (dead time) to refuel my tanks. Took the new ship out for a test run to a pretty nearby nebula (the ring nebula) about 1000 LY away that i wanted to see.

The ship is really fast and i could keep up the tempo of jumping from system to system - loved it. Think i might go for a multi day trip (22000 light years) to the distant colonies near the galaxy center, but i also got some archeology stuff to explore to the east exploring the lost alien civilization of the Guardians, that's just 8k away so i got a decision to make...

(I LOVE exploring in this game).

14000 lightyears in Elite Dangerous... my eyes are hurting! Ships hull is at 62% and i have about 6800 lightyears before i get back to the nearest shipyard / repair station. Next time i'm bringing a repair unit.

Got plenty of resources though, found lots of alien life and the lost civilization of the Guardians near Eta Carinae.
