I have a hard time remembering anything about that movie after the opening ten minutes, because that was the only good part.

A good script? Memorable scenes and characters? Impressive direction? The whole movies feels like 28 Days Later without what made 28 Days Later so good. I really don't understand the low standards that people have for zombie movies. "It's got zombies" doesn't cut the mustard.

The movie sucks. Calling out a movie for sucking isn't being snobby.

Let me try to apply this defense to another film:

"Haha, Batman & Robin wasn't so bad, don't be such a snob. Any movie is better with Batman."

Let's try this: Aside from the opening ten minutes, what about the movie makes it good?

"It's got zombies!" isn't an acceptable answer.
