The extreme measures being taken to keep the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine at minus 70 degrees Celsius is the result of a misunderstanding. The vaccine's real specs said "Maximum storage temperature: 70 degrees Celsius." The person who typed it mistakenly used a hyphen instead of a colon.
