BREAKING NEWS FROM NANTUCKET

The body of an 11 year old girl was found on Lily Street. Police have identified the girl as Josephine Deacon. Deacon was reported missing at the morning bell at the Academy Hill School, and quickly a police search was conducted. An hour later, the child's body was found on the side of Lily Street. It appears that she was strangled. Her father, William Deacon had this to say when the body was identified:

"She was our little girl, now she's gone. She will never get to do the things she wanted."

Deacon, a meteorologist at the National Weather Bureau office here in Nantucket is also puzzled on why anyone would want to murder his daughter.

"She was going to be transferred to a school in Peter City, it was what her mother and I wanted."

Sadly, their wish would never come to fruition, because as of this afternoon, the body was identified as that of Josephine Deacon's. Friends and neighbors offer their condolences and ask a simple question: "Why?" General Creedon, who lives at the corner of Broad and Centre Streets offered his sorrow to a colleague.

"I'm sorry that Bill has to go through this. She was a good kid."

Now police say that they have a list of possible suspects.

If I could put empathy in a bottle, I'd sell it to Big Pharma and than they can give it to a great number of the NT females who are on this planet. That population will have to see a shrink and than they will have to take this little pink pill called Feel.

I was a DJ for an online station years ago but I did it for fun; no one made any money off of it. Station ended up shutting down when advertising sponsors bailed because of controversy with the IRAA & copyrights; lots of online stations voluntarily shut down around then. Those things can be overcome with practice. Don't be so hard on yourself. Have you thought about taking classes or working as an intern at a radio station? Do yourself a favor and look into if you haven't already. In the mean time, you can practice by recording yourself (at home) and talking about the music as well. You can take notes to help you remember what you want to say. Your a DJ in the rough Nick, that's all. Just pause and think about what you want to say and say it slowly and distinctly. It will start coming to you naturally. Believe me Nick, I see you as a DJ. :sunny:

Apparently nearly hacking out a lung really wakes a person up. How invigorating.

I have to say Samsung washers make for interesting cat entertainment. Our 12-year old Maytag Neptune, one of the first mass-marketed front loading washing machines gave up the ghost on Saturday night. We got a new Samsung from Lowe's as its replacement yesterday. Besides from being a better washer and not sounding like a 747 taking off, the Sammy has one cool feature - our cat goes crazy watching clothes wash. She was pawing against the door while it was washing!
