No one else is going to be in the house for close to a week! I can wear whatever I like (or not as the case may be) watch embarrassing movies on the TV, forget about masking, not share the bathroom, finish off projects, not be hypervigilant about being watched and judged, and unless I go out for something, not have to use verbal language at all. Yesss.

Took a side trail in a local woodland park that lead to an unexpected big meadow full of wildflowers. It's on a hill walled by trees and hedges, like a secret garden. Me so happy about this discovery.

The sun is shining and the smell of summer is in the air.

La Decima for Rafael Nadal! Yes!

Also, Rafael moves to number two in the world, just behind Andy Murray. Who would have thought that last year?

Wow!

I found a truly amazing bakery. Hideaway Bakery in Eugene. I like it as well as Pastelaria Conventual Pão De Rala, the little bakery in Évora, Portugal near the ruin.

I discovered that Chux Magic Erasers really are magic. They cleaned the walls in what used to be sons room, which I thought were beyond help, just like magic! Totally stoked about that :D

Bunnings sell them. I don't know if you have access to a Bunnings but they are made of melamine foam and may have a different brand name but if you look for melamine foam you should be right. :D

Rafael Nadal has jumped to Number Two in the world, just behind Andy Murray. This is big! The way Rafa is playing, could he be year end number ONE? The thought is exciting.

Denis Istomin has moved up in the rankings as well, from 80 to 74, and has improved his ranking since the end of the Australian Open, when he beat Djokovic and jumped from 117 to 77. Although he lost in the Netherlands this week, he is headed in a positive direction.

Federer is back in action, too!
