I'm wondering if it's possible for crushes to cause heart attacks or heart problems like psychosomatic disorder or something. If it is I need to try to avoid looking at stuff with Miranda Cosgrove; but if it's not, I should probably see a doc soon. 3 times in the last few days when I was looking/watching stuff with her; I had this weird feeling in my heart like maybe a flutter or something & some slight numbness on my left arm & i felt tired after. I felt fine the rest of the time thou & it only happened with her so I think it might could be psychosomatic related to crushing

I know I'm late in replying to this comment, but I hope that you get this check out to be on the safe side Nick. I know some of you men don't like going to doctors but I really think you should so (s)he can run tests and see what's making you feel like that.

I seem to have one less friend on facebook. Hmmm maybe it could have something to do with that fact that I posted on my wall everyone should calm down about the poppy burning and said it's no big deal :chin:
Oooh I'm so controversial :P

Because today is Veterans Day, I decided visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
in Portland. Despite other visitors, the visit had an eerie feeling to it.

No, no one in my family served in Vietnam or any war.

To all WP members who WERE in the military, thank you for your service.

I don't know why but I feel like a hippy today, must be the music I'm listening to. I feel like running through a forest hugging trees and making peace signs.

Both my husbands were Vietnam Vets, but I was a little girl at the time. You're a sweetie AAE. :)

Resolved Question
Are you supposed to wear makeup to a funeral?
A coworker of mine passed away this weekend. I worked with her for two years and she had a wonderful personality so everyone was pretty close to her! I have only ever been to one funeral and that was about 7 years ago so I don't remember whether I wore makeup. Is it appropriate to wear makeup? If so how much is good, My everyday that I always wear or should I wear less?

I say that if you wear makeup everyday than it is perfectly fine to wear makeup to the funeral, as long as you don't plan on wearing bright colors of course. I think it is appropriate to just wear some eyeliner, mascara, and a clear/natural looking lipgloss/color. As long as your makeup doesn't distract others from remembering your coworker's life, than you're okay.

I was thinking the other day, maybe I missed my calling to be an undertaker. I'm great at reconstructing things artistically and I'm not afraid of touching someone after they have died. I've prepared a number of people who have died to be picked up by the funeral home. I have lots of medical knowledge too. I just can't do a great deal of lifting. If I could use a lifting machine, that would be no problem. I'm also a very spiritual person and I know what it's like to lose someone you love.

I wore a peace-sign instead of a poppy this morning.

I am very nervous. Things went completely off plan, so I can't predict the outcome like I originally had, and that added stress might make it go bad.

Now the waiting game begins.

I've turned my sorrow into wonder and brightened up my avatar. No more death jokes. I've got to pull my own weight. I've got to stay alive. We all have our cross to bare.
