I confess I just quoted your post so it would live on, even if you delete its contents later.

I confess I feel natural now... to an extent lol over analyzing every second of my life still makes things feel a bit forced sometimes. :D

Mind you I love being aspie, but it doesn't mean I shouldn't try to be more extroverted... now that I know what I'm doing I can do that.

I confess, I'm planning on buying a cricket bat. No, I do not intend to play cricket; it is because I worry that in case of zombie attacks, my friends from the UK won't want to use guns or normal weapons, but will still need something to fend off the zombies. A cricket bat is the best thing I can come up with. They seem to work well for beating and smashing in the movies, but I confess I've never actually held one.

I also confess, I went shopping for cricket bats, and was astounded at how expensive they are. I found on I really like (a Chaos bat! How can I resist?), but it is ~250$ US. WTF?! Are the bats that much in Britain? Can any of my British friends out there get me a good deal on a cricket bat? It needs to be willow wood, because of the special anti-zombie properties of willow wood.

I confess, that I'm going to hang the cricket bat in my loft opposite a tactical shotgun. I'm going to get two little signs made; by the shotgun I will hang a sign that says, "In case of zombies (for Americans)", and by the cricket bat, "In case of zombies (for Brits)". I confess I'm not sure what the best term to use for folks from Britain is; what is a good analog for "Americans"? I want to say "Brittons", but that is so archaic; King Arthur was king of the Brittons. What do folks from Britain say? Does "Brits" work?

Oh, also, a question for the British folks: If you needed to fend off zombies with a cricket bat, would you prefer a short handle bat, or a long handle bat?

Good fortune,

- Icarus takes zombie preparedness very seriously...

You owe her absolutely nothing. You never have to do anything you don't wish to do.
