Whilst I am aware that the majority of gyms offer free one-day passes, I would prefer to find a gym that I could revisit on at least a weekly basis.
I am reluctant to ask my GP about possible exemptions as I already feel like a complete free-loader. To be brutally honest, I am unconvinced I should be eligible for both ESA and PIP. The government shouldn't be giving me money for being lazy and socially inept.
Even though I am grateful for having a roof over my head, I might feel more motivated to find and stay in a job if my mother evicted me.
Believe me Jake if you weren't eligible for ESA & PIP you wouldn't get it.
I still feel rather guilty that I have to rely on benefits to get by in life. Though I cannot profess to be particularly well-educated, I never expected to have so much difficulty finding and staying in employment since leaving school nine years ago.
I've now visited the gym but it seems unrealistic for me to join at this juncture as I would have to pay over £25 each week on travel expenses on top of the £16.99/£19.99 membership fee. Furthermore, the personal trainer stated that I would need to eat approximately a gram of protein per lb of my body weight to build muscle.

In my case, that would be around 150 grams each day.
I guess I will have to either move to the city where the gym is located or wait until I have found a job before joining. I could have a long wait on my hands....
